Green: The New Neutral

Posted: Oct 07 2015

I admit, I'm a typical New Yorker that tends to favor a wardrobe of black, navy, gray,  cream and denim. Lately, however, I've been drawn to a new neutral: various shades of rich green. And, I'm finding they pair quite beautifully with easy chambrays, rich creams, grey and black. Here's how I'm going green this season:

The CP Shades Claudia Skirt in Millstone will go with just about anything. I love it paired with the Chunky Convertible Cardigan and cinched with the Taja Belt. The Adriana Coco Boot in olive suede keeps the look light.

Keep it cool with the Jasmine Tunic in millstone. I love this color paired with denim and gold accents. Pair with the Copen Denim Jacket and Esplar in Gold and top it with this handloomed scarf.

I also love this color paired with black and gold for an edgier vibe. The Above/Below tunic is comfy cool, especially paired with the Ella High-Waisted Skinny, Lucita Ankle Boot and pendant necklace.

I love a great wool felted hat for fall. It's a terrific way to add some personality to an otherwise casual look. The Luke Fedora in Forest Green is beautiful and rich in color and will go with everything. Pair it with an easy tee like the Zoe. The Lucita in Scotch picks up the accent in the reclaimed leather band. Tie everything together with this fun mixed media necklace.
