Swimwear hasn't gotten a lot of love from the sustainable fashion community. But Gabby Sabharwal has set out to change that. Like most good ideas, this one was born out of an attempt to fulfill a personal need. Gabby wanted cute, fun swimwear that flattered her shape, had a bold print and was made in the USA. So she found some vintage fabric and made herself a suit. Everyone loved it and now, Giejo (Gabby's nickname) was born.
Gabby continues to source vintage and reclaimed textiles, making her collections limited edition (and all the more covetable). Giejo is proudly made in the USA, produced just across the Hudson River in New Jersey.
