Hand Quilted Bag

 There is something about summer that makes me want to drape myself in white. The crisp, cleanness of it seems so appropriate. I love this quilted bag by Soham Dave.

It's artisan-made, fully hand-quilted with raw embroidery thread and reclaimed leather trims. Reclaimed Greige washed muslin fabric combined with mashru silk in the shell. (Mashru is woven with a combination of silk and cotton, the cotton being the lower layer in touch with the skin.) This unusual blend of fabrics and hand quilting create a unique texture on the bag’s surface. The lining is hand-block printed in 100% cotton. Lovely.
